The Bhumpa Set or Altar Vase is made of silver 925 has fine hand carvings decorated with turquoise and coral stones. These Bhumpas are crafted by the master of Patan, Nepal. The spouts, bases, and covers have hand engravings of flowers and other Buddhist symbols.
The Bhumpa, or Ritual Vase, is an important ceremonial item used for holding holy water that has been blessed by the Guru. Bhumpas may also be used by practitioners to make water offerings – in such cases the water is regarded as pure nectar.
